"There’s just something about it — I want to crawl in my skin," Barrett said of the famous song.

As we rapidly approach the holiday season, Gabby Barrett has revealed the Christmas song that she never wants to hear again.
Discussing her first-ever Christmas album, Carols And Candlelight, which she released earlier this month, Barrett opened up about which merry song she’s sick of in an interview on Taste of Country Nights.
“What gives me, like, the ick? Santa Baby,” she said. “100 per cent. I cannot. I just can’t do it. There’s just something about it — I want to crawl in my skin.”
Santa Baby has become synonymous with American Christmas culture since Eartha Kitt released the original version of the song in 1953. Other notable versions of the song have been performed by Trisha Yearwood, Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Taylor Swift, Kylie Minogue, Michael Bublé, and most recently, Icelandic experimental artist Laufey.
Gabby Barrett’s Carols And Candlelight contains eleven songs, including covers of Mary, Did You Know?, Baby, It’s Cold Outside (featuring husband Cade Foehner), O Holy Night, Last Christmas, and Silent Night. You can find the tracklist below.
In February, Barrett and Foehner welcomed their third child, Ivy Josephine Foehner.
