Gabby Barrett And Cade Foehner Welcome Baby Boy

Gabby Barrett and husband Cade Foehner have welcomed their second child, a boy, Augustine Boone Foehner, who was born on October 27.

Barrett shared the exciting news on social media, “Soaking up the newborn days with baby brother. What a precious gift from our Lord!” 

The couple announced on Mother’s Day (May 8) that they were expecting another baby earlier this year when Barrett posted a video from her ultrasound on social media.

"My son," she captioned her post. "Another LIFE we get to love and cherish."

On Instagram, Foehner wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing, strong, and fruitful Bride! She is currently carrying another precious life made in the image of God. A son to bear our name into the next generation. Our children will rise up and call her blessed, this husband also, praises her. Proverbs 31:28 "Praise God from whom all blessings flow!"

Barrett and Foehner met and began dating while competing on American Idol. The pair were married in October 2019 and welcomed daughter Baylah May in January 2021.

Barrett told E! News last year, "Motherhood is definitely my top priority out of everything. [Baylah’s] just my whole entire world now and so I've just been trying to figure out that balance of having time and spending time with her and being a hands-on [mum].”

Additionally, Barrett is currently working on her second album, which will follow Goldmine.

“We’ve been focusing on [my new album] a lot throughout the summer and planning for that before going on maternity leave, so as soon as I’m done touring this weekend, in September, we’re going to be doing a lot of recording,” Barrett told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “We should have a lot of the second album done by the end of next month.”
