Gabby Barrett and her musician husband, Cade Foehner, have welcomed their third child.

A baby girl named Ivy Josephine Foehner (and nicknamed Ivy Jo), Barrett didn’t share a picture of her baby girl’s face – a tradition with each newborn she’s given birth to – but did unveil a zoomed-in photo of her feet.

“Our third baby arrived earth side early this morning, at home,” Barrett wrote alongside an adorable photo on Instagram yesterday (18 February). “Another life to love and cherish. Praising God for His kindness!

“Ivy Josephine Foehner 💕 (Ivy Jo ✨🐷)”.

Congratulations to the happy couple and their growing family!

In January 2021, Barrett’s first child, daughter Baylah May, was born. Her second child, a son, Augustine Boone, was born in October 2022.

In a May 2021 interview with E Online, Barrett said about her journey as a mother, “Motherhood is definitely my top priority out of everything. [Baylah’s] just my whole entire world now, and so I've just been trying to figure out that balance of having time and spending time with her and being a hands-on [mum].”

Barrett came third in the 16th season of American Idol in 2018 and married fellow contestant Cade Foehner in October 2019.

Earlier this month, Barrett released her second album, Chapter & Verse, the follow-up to 2020’s Goldmine. Barrett co-wrote nine of the album’s 14 songs, one of which features Luke Combs on backing vocals for Dance Like No One’s Watching. Combs gave the track to Barrett upon finding out that she was pregnant with a baby girl.

The album was preceded by the successful single Glory Days and was followed up by Cowboy Back, Growin' Up Raisin' You, and You're My Texas. Chapter & Verse debuted at #39 on the US Top Country Albums Billboard Chart.

On Growin’ Up Raising You, Barrett explained that the song is “very sensitive” in a press release. She added, “I’m only 23–I don’t have all the answers to everything, and I haven’t gotten everything figured out.

“I’m doing the best that I can while trying to raise other people to be the best people they can be. I feel so blessed to be able to have three little lives that I can help to flourish while I’m also trying to figure out life myself.”
