Country music fans officially got their wish at CMA Fest this year, with Florida Georgia Line reuniting on stage for the first time at the festival since the duo's split in 2022.

For a few years now, it felt like the chances of seeing Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley back together were somewhere between "maybe one day" and "don't get your hopes up." But CMA Fest 2026 has delivered another major magical moment.

The surprise appearance sent fans into a frenzy across downtown Nashville, marking another major step in what has been a gradual reunion for one of country music's biggest acts of the last decade.

The signs had been there for weeks.

Earlier this month, eagle-eyed fans noticed Florida Georgia Line's social media accounts suddenly springing back to life with new profile photos featuring the phrase "FGL LFG". The duo's website was also updated, while billboards began appearing around Nashville teasing that "some things are just better together."

For longtime fans, it felt like something was brewing.

Then came CMA Fest.

The reunion arrives after Hubbard and Kelley have slowly found their way back into each other's orbit over the past year. The pair were spotted together at the CMA Awards in late 2025, and earlier this year they surprised fans with their first live performance together since the breakup during an industry event in Nashville.

Whether this marks the beginning of a full-scale reunion remains to be seen. Neither Hubbard nor Kelley have officially confirmed what's next, but the timing of the social media rebrand, recent performances and CMA Fest appearance certainly has fans speculating.

For now, though, country fans are happy to enjoy the moment.
