Jason Aldean ProfileJason Aldean may be friends with Donald Trump and write songs in favour of the US President, but that doesn’t mean he’s safe from a roasting—even at a public event like Trump’s midterm rally in Georgia on Saturday (24 October).
Footage has surfaced from the event, in which Trump roasted the country music star, 17 minutes into a bizarre speech claiming that his administration has “got” Greenland and Venezuela. He then made a pointed joke to Aldean about his marriage to his wife, Brittany.
Social media account The Country Minute posted the clip where Trump asks, “Do you think Jason Aldean would have a wife as beautiful as his wife if he couldn’t sing? I don’t think so.”
Turning his attention to Jason and Brittany, he added, “Isn’t it nice to be able to sing, Jason? And look at her, she’s so in love with you.”
The President then shared his punchline: “The day you stop selling records, she’s gone, so you better work.”
He ended the roast by assuring supporters that Jason and Brittany Aldean are his “friends.”

In late September, Aldean concluded his Songs About Us tour with back-to-back headline shows at the BankNH Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire.
He toured in support of his latest album, Songs About Us, released in April. The 20-song collection includes his new radio hits, How Far Does a Goodbye Go – his 31st song to hit #1 in the US – Don’t Tell on Me, and Anytime Soon.
Aldean performed at Trump’s inauguration in January 2025 alongside Parker McCollum, The Village People, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, and more.
In June 2024, Aldean polarised fans with a pro-Trump rant on social media; supposedly believing Trump should be above the law, Aldean claimed it was a “scary time in our country” after the former President was found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records.
In July 2023, CMT pulled his music video for Try That In A Small Town, allegedly because it was a “pro-lynching song”; Aldean blamed “cancel culture” for the negative commentary. The song sparked protests outside a concert of his in September 2023, with protesters reportedly burning flags and labelling Aldean a “fascist piece of shit”.
The singer denied the music video’s “pro-lynching” allegations, as footage in the clip was reportedly filmed at a Columbia, Tennessee courthouse at the site of a 1933 lynching. The video also received criticism for its pro-gun messaging and “racist dog-whistling”.
