Casey Barnes Teases "Special" Collab With Morgan Evans and Danielle Blakey

Casey Barnes has taken to social media to tease his next project. While it’s most likely just a co-write, we’re excited to see what he, Morgan Evans and Danielle Blakey have come up with.

The Boys Like Me singer wrote, “Cooked up something pretty special with these two legends in Nashville today #StayTuned.”

Along with a selfie of the trio, the series of photos via Instagram shows a fluffy cute pup and Evans playing guitar.

Both Evans and Blakey are Australians who now reside in Nashville, Tennessee.

Barnes is currently in Nashville as part of CMA Fest. Earlier this week, he performed on the Reverb stage to a large crowd of people. “Yesterday was definitely up there when it comes to career highlights,” he shared. “Our first time playing CMA Fest, and it honestly was a dream come true. Extra special having that Aussie support in the crowd and can’t thank the boys in the band enough!”

Hot on the heels of a run of shows in the U.S., Barnes will shortly return to Australia to kick off his City Nights tour this September. Taking in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne, the tour will mark his biggest shows in those cities to date.

Barnes said, “We’ve been lucky to get to see most of this amazing country over the last 18 months on the Light It Up tour and now we’re excited to be taking country to the city for the City Nights tour this September! Three headline shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, in bigger venues. Don’t worry, we’re planning to hit every part of Australia with an even bigger tour and a new album early next year, but in the meantime, you’ll be able to get a taste of the new music plus all the hits at these three special shows in September. We can't wait to take country to the city!”

Joining Barnes on the tour is rising country duo, Zac & George, who have had a run of hit singles including Red Wine & Roses, Bar Stool and Sleep On It.
