Casey Barnes And His Daughter Charli Cover Chappell Roan's 'Pink Pony Club'

Casey Barnes and his daughter, Charli, have covered one of the most popular songs in the world right now.
Putting their own spin on Chappell Roan’s hit single, Pink Pony Club, the pair stripped the huge pop song back to its roots, both playing acoustic guitar and sharing harmonies.
As for Charli’s vocals? She’s ready to record pop-country songs with or without her father; her voice is that engaging. Meanwhile, Casey Barnes could re-record any pop song on acoustic guitar and make hearts melt.

Barnes covering Chappell Roan comes just a few weeks after he released a new single, Buy That Girl A Beer. Leaning into his country-rock side, Buy That Girl A Beer marks Barnes’ first new single since releasing his chart-topping, award-winning fifth album, Mayday, last year.

The journey of his latest track began in Nashville. Co-written with Jimmy Thow and Andy Skib – the latter known for collaborations with Keith Urban, Mickey Guyton, Hunter Hayes, and more – Barnes and co. deliver a stadium-ready, country rock anthem with a massive chorus that fans won’t forget anytime soon.

Since the release of Mayday, Barnes has been busy: he’s gone on a national tour, played at Ridin’ Hearts, Over Yonder Festival, and Tamworth Country Music Festival, will perform at the Woodstock Farm Presents: Legends Of Country festival this month, and is heading to Nashville in June for the renowned CMA Fest.
