Andrew Swift is capping off 2024 on a high. Not by surprise releasing a new album or dropping a new single, but by announcing that he and his partner, Simone Sordello, are expecting a child in May 2025.
“Simone and I are beyond excited to be expecting an addition to our little blended family at the end of May 2025,” Andrew Swift tells Countrytown. “Even though this is my first time being a dad, I feel like Simone's two boys have taught me so much about myself, especially that I have a lot of love to give in a fatherly role.”
On Instagram, he added, “I truly couldn’t think of any better way to top off the year than to let you all know that Simone and I are beyond excited to be expecting a little Swift to arrive at the end of May 2025.”
Andrew and Simone have received plenty of love from the country music community, with artists such as Denvah, Jayne Denham, Dylan Wright, Christie Lamb, Amber Lawrence, Luke O’Shea, Cass Hopetoun, The Weeping Willows, Angus Gill, Melanie Dyer, Kristy Cox, and more offering their congratulations.

In recent Andrew Swift news, the singer was added to this year’s CMA Fest line-up in Nashville after being named Ambassador of the 2024 Gympie Music Muster.
He’s released some exciting duets this year, including with Amber Lawrence and Billie-Jo Porter.
Of his track with Amber Lawrence, Fumes And Fireworks, Countrytown said: “A mid-tempo tune, the song opens with Lawrence’s soothing, comfortable voice before Swift shares a verse with her, offering additional warmth before the bright chorus arrives.
