Rising Australian country star Tyla Rodrigues is making waves in 2025 with her fiery new single Hot & Heavy. Recently signing with ABC Music and fresh off her US debut at CMA Fest in Nashville, Rodrigues is quickly proving herself as one of country music’s boldest new voices.

The Hot & Heavy music video is pure attitude and energy. It follows a confident bombshell as she struts into her local bar, turning heads and owning the room. Instantly she has the men falling over themselves, while the women give her that subtle nod that says, game recognises game. It's a playful and cheeky tribute to women who know exactly how to work a room, and aren’t afraid to use a little charm to outsmart the guys who are thinking with anything but their brains.

At just 21, Rodrigues is no stranger to big stages. She’s already made her mark on Australia’s biggest country festivals including Groundwater CMF, Tamworth CMF, and the Gympie Music Muster and spent the last month of 2024 opening for US breakout star Dylan Gossett on his Australian and New Zealand tour. Her debut EP Upon Reflection earned nearly 1 million streams, laying the foundation for what’s shaping up to be a standout career.
