More Jade Gibson More Jade Gibson

Jade Gibson is back with the summery new track, Technicolour, with the music video exclusively premiering on Countrytown today.

Showcasing Gibson’s smooth, commanding vocal against the backdrop of a river and mountains, she rides a bike, plays the acoustic guitar on a picnic rug in the sunshine, and sings directly into the camera. She takes viewers on a bright, positive journey—who doesn’t need some extra positivity in their lives?

The layers are pulled back as night falls in the music video, giving Gibson a moment to spotlight her fantastic vocals. Featuring acoustic guitar and pedal steel, along with drums and bass, the music video certainly feels Technicolour.

Technicolour offers a fresh side of Jade Gibson, allowing her to be vulnerable and authentic in new ways. For the music video, she teamed up with Jake Davey Studios in an adventure that took her back to her roots.

Filmed in Gibson’s hometown of Northeast Victoria, Australia, she lets out her natural curls (something many of us are afraid of!) and looks completely free. Gibson said of the clip, “I have felt a certain type of sparkle return from digging to find where the roots of my love for music lie for this new chapter.”

Technicolour arrives after Gibson signed to independent country music label, RTC Records, earlier this year. It also marks the first single from her upcoming project, which is set for release in 2025.

Jade Gibson has been performing for audiences since she was just 14 and was a Grand Finalist at the 2022 Toyota Star Maker competition.

By 2023, Gibson had performed over 500 concerts and had a work ethic influenced by her musical inspirations, Keith Urban, The Chicks, and Fleetwood Mac.

In 2018, Gibson spent a whole year in Nashville studying while developing her performing, songwriting, and recording skills. The following year, she released her debut single, The Great Unknown, from her five-track EP of the same name. The EP explored stories of being young, love, heartbreak, and chasing dreams.
