What did this year’s APRA-nominated country artists reveal about the magic behind their songs?
The newly announced acts join Troy Cassar-Daley, Kasey Chambers, Fanny Lumsden, The Wolfe Brothers, and more at this year's event.
Between a double-marathon charity run, new single, and a stacked week at Tamworth Country Music Festival, singer James Johnston aims to keep pushing.
James Johnston will headline the event, which will also feature Zac & George, Robbie Mortimer, Melanie Dyer, Denvah, and more.
Other artists nominated include James Johnston, Max Jackson, Lane Pittman, Wade Forster, Casey Barnes, and Tori Forsyth.
Troy Cassar-Daley is one of the top nominees for this year’s awards, having been recognised in three categories.
While it’s “early days” since signing with Warner, Johnston described the move as “incredibly exciting.”
As James Johnston prepares to play some of his biggest shows supporting US star Kip Moore, he reveals what Nashville taught him about making music.
“To be able to release this song together and share a part of our story is pretty special to me.”
Kernaghan recently said, "There’s a terrific story behind the song I’ve recorded with James, and it goes to the heart of who we are and what we do."
