Not Ready (To Leave Just Yet) is Leaving Lennox goodbye to Australia

Sydney duo Leaving Lennox have set out on a global adventure moving to Nashville and their latest single Not Ready (To Leave Just Yet) is a solemn goodbye to Australia.

Having already toured throughout Tennesse, Illinois, Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Texas, the move was technically easy for the duo already familiar with the US. But it seems the song is a reflection of the pairs reluctance to leave Australia.

It's a solemn, heartfelt ode lead by piano and the pairs gorgeously intertwined vocals. The pair deliver a unique sound that combines elements of country, folk and pop. It's very sweet.

"When writing the song, it was important for us to encapsulate emotion through the use of imagery in a room, shoes by the door/suitcase on the floor, keys in my hand/running through the things you said which would be felt by a universal audience. The lyrics are open to interpretation. The vocals and instrumentals are emotionally charged while the lyrics describe a stall after a storm." Said the duo.
