All For You by Tori Forsyth is our Song of the Day! The catchy, genre-blend track is fourth single off her upcoming second album Provlépseis, set for release on May 21.
Kicking off with a simple, rhythmic guitar line, this song’s first verse shines a spotlight on Tori’s nuanced vocal delivery, velvety timbre, and accusatory lyrics. Instrumentation slowly builds until the chorus explosion of shimmering guitar interplay and insistent drums.
While most the album was recorded pre-pandemic, of the single Tori says, “I actually wrote the chorus five years ago and forgot about it. Then halfway through lockdown it appeared in my head and I rewrote the verses.”
The music video for All For You was directed by Emily Avila and produced by Coralie Tapper, the team behind her previous video for the single Courtney Love.

Tori adds, “I wanted the concept of All For You to reflect the versus in the song. Very mystical and symbolic. I wanted it to reflect parts of myself that lean into spiritualism to move through tough times. The idea of grabbing onto anything that can provide a pulse. To want something bigger and not knowing what it is, trying to trust that this too, whatever that may be shall pass.”
Tori released her acclaimed debut EP, Black Bird in 2016. Recorded at ARIA and Golden Guitar award-winning singer-songwriter Shane Nicholson’s Sound Hole studio, Black Bird was also engineered by Nicholson, who was then enlisted to produce Tori’s accomplished debut album Dawn Of The Dark in 2018, as well her upcoming 13-track release.
She was nominated in 2017 for 'CMC New Artist' and in 2019 for 'QANTAS New Talent of the Year', 'Female Artist of the Year' and 'Alt Country Album of the Year' for Dawn of the Dark at the Toyota Golden Guitar Awards. Previously, Tori won the 16th Independent Music Award in the alt-country genre.
