Tim McGraw & Faith Hill's daughters won't take s--t from anyone

Tim McGraw opens up about his wife Faith Hill, his daughters, and tear-jerking hit I Called Mama.

More Faith Hill Faith Hill

Speaking to ET Canada on Tuesday, August 18, Tim McGraw opened up about his love for his wife Faith Hill, how proud he is of his daughters, and what inspired him to write his latest tear-jerking hit I Called Mama.

I Called Mama came from a personal place McGraw admits, revealing that in his life he's more familiar with the love of a mother than a father.

"I grew up with my mom and two sisters and without much of a dad around, so I'm used to that sort of connection. I don't know much about a father son connection, so mostly my knowledge comes from a mother/son or mother/daughter connection," said McGraw.

The Louisianan singer also went on to praise his wife, singer Faith Hill, for continuing that powerful connection with their three daughters Gracie, 23, Maggie, 22, and Audrey 18.

"I just thank God every day that they have their mom as a role model. It's incredible to see the bond that they have and the relationship they have together," the proud dad told ET Canada.

"My daughters have grown up to be strong, independent, outspoken, don't take any s--t from anybody, and they are really good, solid girls. They are good friends to their friends and good daughters to their parents."
