Max Jackson has officially gone global once again, earning a nomination at the 2025 Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards, she’s up for Musical Collaboration of the Year alongside some serious talent.

Jackson’s nod comes for her feel-good duet Won’t Forget with Canadian country powerhouse Dan Davidson and Tim Hicks resonated with audiences across both countries. 

Being recognised by the CCMAs is a huge nod for an Aussie artist navigating an increasingly international country scene.

The shortlist for Musical Collaboration of the Year features top-tier duets from Canadian and American heavyweights. Jackson's name appearing alongside some of the biggest voices in the genre, puts her in the same arena as award-winning acts who routinely dominate Canadian country radio and charts.

After winning Toyota Star Maker in 2022, earning two consecutive Golden Guitars, and co-hosting the awards show in 2025, Max has firmly established herself on home soil. Her latest single Little More Country conquered airplay charts, and she’s since brought that energy overseas with festival stops in Nashville.

With Won’t Forget scoring this international nod, Jackson takes another step toward becoming a global ambassador for Aussie country.
