The Wet Whistles ProfileBrisbane country boy band the Wet Whistles have taken the next major step in their fast-rising career, joining the management roster of Goldspur Entertainment.
Announced today, the self-described "beer drinkin' blokes from Brissy" have paired the release of their latest single One More Round with news that they're the latest name to join Goldspur, following on from the likes of acts such as Mack Geiger and Briana Dinsdale.
Having formed over a few drinks just a few years ago, the four members – including brothers Jordan Hill and Jake Hill alongside Caillin Malley and Nick Trovas – had previously spent time in the Brisbane pub covers scene.
Before long, they found themselves carving out their own niche within Australia's country scene, becoming renowned for their impeccable harmonies, energetic live shows, and vast array of original tunes.
“I’ve said for the longest time that The Wet Whistles never put on a bad show," says Ashlyn Dinsdale, Manager at Goldspur Entertainment. "Ken [Dinsdale] and I have always been a huge fan of their music and live performance, so we’re incredibly excited to be working with them on this next chapter.
"They’ve built something really special, and we’re looking forward to helping them take it to the next level.”

The Wet Whistles have already kicked an array of goals in 2026, having performed at the likes of Goldspur Entertainment’s independent country festival, Lasso Country Music Festival, where they performed directly ahead of US headliner Drake Milligan.
With new single One More Round on hand, they'll be joining Wade Forster throughout October and November on his national run of shows, alongside their own batch of headline dates.
