There is a lot going on with the 2026 Strummingbird Festival. After epic teasers and a whopping line up announcement we have broken down everything you need to know about securing yourself and your mates tickets to what will be one of the largest events of the year.
Post Malone leads the charge, bringing his genre smashing energy into the country world, while Bailey Zimmerman and Cooper Alan keep the vibes high. Add in breakthrough acts like Stella Lefty and Dexter & the Moonrocks, plus Aussie favourites Brad Cox, Sara Berki and Sons of the East, and you’ve got a full blown party.
So you don’t get overwhelmed, you’ll find a breakdown of all the different types of tickets and camping options, as well as the different ways and times to secure your tickets.

VIP UPGRADES
Upgrade tickets are add-ons and must be purchased alongside a GA ticket to the festival.
SITTIN’ PRETY UPGRADE - $69
The Sittin’ Pretty upgrade, gives you access to unreserved tiered seating overlooking the main arena with views of the Wildwing Stage and screens.
SHOTGUN FAST PASS UPGRADE - $55
A Shotgun Fast Pass gives you express entry into the festival as well as express access to bars, merch and bathrooms.
Note* it does not include express entry for artist merch signing tent.
SWEET SPOT VIP UPGRADE (18+) - $149
Includes: Shotgun Fast Pass and access to the Sweet Spot VIP Area.
Sweet Spot VIP includes a cloakroom, shaded seating area, photobooth, premium toilets and a merch concierge (order your merch and have it delivered to you at VIP)
BELLS & WHISTLES VIP UPGRADE (18+) - $259
Includes: Shotgun Fast Pass, Sweet Spot VIP Area and access to Bells & Whistles.

Camping tickets are add-ons and must be purchased alongside a GA ticket to the festival.

Note: There is no camping available through the festival for Newcastle. There may be campgrounds around that festival goers can source individually.
HOW & WHEN TO BUY TICKETS
TICKET REQUEST: MAY 6 - 11
Ticket request lets you lock in your ticket before the presale by confirming your payment details between 12pm Wednesday 6 May 2026 and 12pm Monday 11 May 2026.
How it works: A hold will be placed on your card for the full value of your request. If your request is successful your card will be charged the full value of your request.
Tickets are subject to availability, your request may be unsuccessful.
By making a request early, you give yourself a better shot at getting tickets before they’re gone. It’s a more relaxed, flexible way to plan your event day
Orders will close at 12pm on Monday 11 May 2026 and payments will begin processing from then so make sure you have the funds available in your account across Monday 11 May & Tuesday 12 May.

PRESALE: MAY 13
Buying presale gives you a shot at the lowest priced tickets to Strummingbird, however, allocation is limited. Each ticket release has a set allocation and will be available until allocations are exhausted.
Times have been staggered for different festivals see times below.
Sunshine Coast: 10am AEST
Newcastle: 11am AEST
Ballarat: 12pm AEST

GENERAL ON SALE: MAY 14
From 10am AEST it’s a free for all. Whatever tickets are left and on sale to the general public. No code, no special link needed. All remaining tickets are available via Moshtix.
