Strummingbird isn’t playing it safe in 2026 - it’s going all in.

After a breakout debut last year, Australia’s largest touring country festival has just dropped its 2026 lineup, and it’s the kind of bill that feels designed to turn heads well beyond the country scene. Leading the charge is none other than Post Malone, who’s officially bringing his country era down under.

Fresh off the success of his genre-blurring album F-1 Trillion, Post Malone’s return to Australia feels like a full-circle moment. This time around, though, he’s leaning fully into country, and if the response to his recent material is anything to go by, fans are more than ready for it.

Joining him is one of country music’s fastest-rising names, Bailey Zimmerman. With viral hits and a rapidly growing global fanbase, Zimmerman’s inclusion signals just how forward-thinking this lineup is — blending traditional country roots with a modern, crossover edge.

Then there’s Cooper Alan, bringing his signature mix of humour, energy and crowd-pleasing anthems, alongside a diverse mix of international and homegrown acts that reflect where country music is right now — not where it used to be.
