The PleasuresCatherine Britt and Lachlan Bryan – are coming back home in December, today announcing a co-headline Australian tour with Sydney duo Big Wheels (Cass Ford and Lawson Doyle). They’re touring with a special guest, too, with Allison Forbes coming along for the ride.

Fresh off finding success on US Americana radio, The Pleasures’ dual headline tour with Big Wheels begins on Friday, 8 December, at the Gasometer Hotel in Collingwood, VIC.

That date is followed by Bendigo’s Golden Vine Hotel (9 December) and San Remo’s Westernport Hotel (10 December), before the touring parties head to NSW for a trio of shows kicking off at Mayfield’s Stag & Hunter Hotel on Friday, 15 December, the Dungog Royal Hotel (16 December), and The House of Music & Booze in St Peters (17 December).

Tickets are on sale now – you can find all the ticketing information below.

The Pleasures have recently returned from their debut tours of the US and UK, while Big Wheels are fresh off a 13-date UK tour.

“THIS is gonna be a lot of fun,” The Pleasures wrote on Facebook today. Forbes replied in the comments, “WOO HOO!!! Let’s do it !!”

The Pleasures broke into the US Americana Radio AirPlay Chart in August, reaching #36 on the Top 50 Albums Chart with The Beginning Of The End. With their charting position, they joined artists like Jason Isbell, Lucinda Williams, Lukas Nelson and Grace Potter - to name a few. To date, the album has spent two months in the chart.

Britt and Bryan formed The Pleasures in November 2021. Bryan explained, “I don’t think I know anyone else who feels and understands country music the way Catherine does. She sounds authentic because she is authentic.

“When she opens her mouth and sings, you can hear the neon lights buzzing, you can taste the tequila, and you can barely see through the cloud of smoke. It’s all that stuff that people try and fake – they try and put in on – but it’s like she was just born with it.”
