Taylor Swift Rumoured To Release 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)' Before Eras Tour

A source has recently revealed to UK newspaper The Sun that Speak Now will be the next album to drop in Taylor Swift's re-recording series aptly named Taylor's Version, and it's set to come out sooner than we think. 

Fans originally speculated that Speak Now will be the third album released in her Taylor's Version series after discovering multiple easter eggs in the video for her song Bejewelled, from her most recent release Midnights. 

Some of those hints include the use of Enchanted in the opening scene, pressing the purple button for floor 3 in a lift (Speak Now is Swift's third album, and Purple is its primary colour), and a clock floating above the stage showing that it's three o'clock. 

Fans have also pointed out that the stage setup in the clip looks a lot like her Speak Now tour stage, and the closing moments of the video also feature the melody from Long Live.

Now it seems that the Speak Now speculation can be laid to rest with a source confirming that Swift intends to release Speak Now (Taylor's Version) just before her anticipated Eras tour. 

"Taylor has quietly been in the studio working on remaking both Speak Now and 1989. All details are still being ironed out but Speak Now Taylor’s Version should be out within the next couple of months before she kicks off her Eras world tour.

“Many other artists would have paused to enjoy the success she has seen with Midnights, but Taylor is super focused and works around the clock for her fans.”

Swift has already re-released two albums in her Taylor's Version series, Red and Fearless, both to great success. On top of that, her most recent album, Midnights, has done incredible numbers in the charts, smashing the single-day streaming record for an album with 184.6 million streams on Spotify and single-handedly raising the vinyl record sales in the UK for the first time in 35 years.
