Taylor Moss has shared an emotional and deeply personal update following her recent withdrawal from the Gympie Music Muster, revealing she has been quietly enduring a devastating miscarriage, emergency surgery, and serious health complications over the past month.

The singer initially announced she would not be performing at the event just days prior, citing health reasons. Late last night, Moss took to social media to share the full story behind her absence, a story that has shaken her world, but also shown her incredible strength.

In a raw and heartfelt series of messages, Moss revealed that what began as the joyful news of a pregnancy quickly turned into unimaginable heartbreak. “From seeing two lines on a stick… to finding out we were going through our first miscarriage, which has broken our hearts,” she wrote.

Her health journey didn’t stop there. After ongoing symptoms and further scans, doctors discovered it had been a twin miscarriage, with the second pregnancy diagnosed as ectopic, a rare and dangerous complication that led to emergency surgery and the removal of a fallopian tube.

“Post the surgery I ended up back in emergency with insane pain,” she continued. Her condition worsened when doctors discovered her liver had gone into complete shutdown, and she remains in hospital as specialists investigate the cause.

Despite the immense physical and emotional trauma, Moss’s message is one of openness, resilience, and hope. “I posted this because I don’t want to suffer in silence,” she wrote. “It might take me a while to show up… but it’s not the end, it’s just the beginning.”

The country music community has since rallied around her, with fans and peers flooding social media with love and support. Amy Sheppard commented “Sending you both so much love and support. You’re not alone” and Ashleigh Dallas added “I am so sorry that you and Dave are going through this. And by sharing your heart, your truth and world like this, will be a light and beacon for many other women and their partners. Sending all our love x.” Moss also praised her partner, Dave Ruberto, for being her rock during the ordeal: “He looked at me in the eyes and said, ‘It’s not the end, it’s just the beginning.’ We’ve got this.”

In speaking out, Moss not only shows incredible bravery but is helping to break the silence around pregnancy loss, acting as a reminder that strength often looks like vulnerability.

From all of us at Countrytown, we’re sending our love and best wishes to you both, Taylor & Dave.
