Some big rises from the superstars of this week's Tamworth Country Music Festival.
The Tamworth Country Music Festival continues to make its impact, with this week's Countrytown Hot 50 Chart seeing some good progress for the artists on everyone's lips.
Toyota Star Maker winner Loren Ryan takes a big leap up twelve places to land at #35 this week with Bounce Back, while James Johnston and Kaylee Bell, who blew everyone away with their massive performance at the Entertainment Centre, have pushed back into the Top 10 with former number one Same Songs. Casey Barnes is also up two with his former chart-topper Small Town, while last year's Star Maker Max Jackson pops back into the Top 20 with Stratosphere.
At the pointy end of the chart though, it's an international feast, with the top four places all taken by artists from the States. Jackson Dean keeps the top spot for another week, while there are big jumps from Mackenzie Porter, Jelly Roll and Thomas Rhett all battling it out for the runner-up positions. Lainey Wilson's Heart Like A Truck is also a fast mover this week, leaping up ten places to land at #31. Luke Combs and Cole Swindell also jump up, just missing the Top 10 this week. Hudson Rose also has a good week with Misery rising eleven places.
Just one new entrant this week with alt-country singer Ben Mastwyk jumping into the list at #46 with Country Club Cousins. We also have re-entries this week from Taylor Moss, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and The Wolfe Brothers, each with their former Top 5 hits.
Heading in the wrong direction this week are The Buckleys, Matt Cornell, Tyler Hubbard and Taylor Moss all suffering significant falls. But a week's a long time in country... plenty of time to turn fortunes around as the Tamworth juggernaut comes to a close this weekend.
