Across ten days at next month’s Tamworth Country Music Festival, fans can enjoy an abundance of free live music.
The free shows will take place at Toyota Park. The fun begins with the Opening Concert on Friday, 17 January. A star-studded event, fans will get to witness acts such as Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, Duncan Toombs, Sara Storer, Wicker Suite, Wade Forster, Denvah, and more take to the stage. The show will be hosted by Max Jackson.
On the following night, Catherine Britt will be joined by special guests Melanie Dyer and Bonnie Kellett for Catherine Britt’s Girls’ Night Out. The show will be compered by Tamworth local artist, Sally-Anne Whitten.
Some other free highlights throughout the festival include the 2025 Toyota Star Maker Grand Final (Sunday, 19 January), Americana In The Park (Monday, 20 January), KIX Live In The Park (Thursday, 23 January), and the final free concert, the Toyota Best of the Buskers Concert: True Blue Edition (Sunday, 26 January).

Festival Manager Barry Harley said of the free shows: “Toyota Park is a very special part of the festival, and the concerts are a perfect way for families of all ages to experience new and emerging talent as well as some of their favourite artists.”

“Toyota’s Star Maker Competition on Sunday evening at Toyota Park is a highlight of the festival, giving up-and-coming country artists the opportunity to showcase their outstanding talent to patrons with the hope to be crowned the Star Maker Winner of 2025.

Monday, 20 January - AMERICANA IN THE PARK
Hosted by Golden Guitar Winner Andrew Swift, the event will feature US artist Sam Hatmaker, Pete Cullen, Linc Phelps, Tyla Rodrigues and Ally Row.
Tuesday, 21 January - BANDS ON THE RUN
Hosted by Mike Vee, Bands On The Run will star Kirsty Lee Aker’s band Rhinestoned, Brooke Shubert from Brisbane, QLD, Route 33 from Far North QLD and Scarlet’s Way from Western Australia.
Wednesday, 22 January - BACK TO THE BUSH SPECTACULAR
Hosted by Dianne Lindsay and Peter Simpson, this concert has locked in a range of accomplished bush balladeers.
Thursday, 23 January 23 - KIX LIVE IN THE PARK
James Johnston will headline the event and will be joined by Zac & George, Taylor Moss, Denvah, Abbie Ferris, and Robbie Mortimer.
Friday, 24 January - HOME GROWN BANDS
This concert will shine the spotlight on acts including Redneck Gentlemen, Buddy Knox & Friends, Good Corn Liquor and Andy Golledge.
Saturday, 25 January - COUNTRY ROCKS
Starring James Blundell, Brewn, Ben Ransom, Ingrid Mae, Copperline, Stewart Barton and Ruby Shay.
Sunday, 26 January - TOYOTA BEST OF THE BUSKERS: TRUE BLUE EDITION
A panel of judges will choose ten buskers to compete at the Best of the Buskers Concert: True Blue Edition, with the final concert starring 2024 winners Robbi & Ben. A fireworks display will be launched at 9:45 pm to cap off another festival.
