The first artist announcement for next year’s Tamworth Country Music Festival is here, and it’s a big one.
You might feel like this year’s Tamworth Country Music Festival just happened or that it occurred an eternity ago. Either way, today’s announcement about the upcoming ten-night event should excite you.
The epic announcement includes the reveal of next year’s Golden Guitar Awards hosts, James Johnston and Max Jackson. Meanwhile, the festival has locked in a suite of incredible ticketed events, including shows from international rocker Suzi Quatro and beloved local acts like Kasey Chambers, Fanny Lumsden, Travis Collins, Shane Nicholson, Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, Pixie Jenkins, and many more.
Elsewhere, next year’s festival has also booked Andrew Farriss, Brooke McClymont & Adam Eckersley, Amber Lawrence, Jayne Denham, The Wolfe Brothers, The Bushwackers, Casey Barnes, Lane Pittman, Sara Storer, Dragon, Joe Camilleri & The Black Sorrows, Loren Ryan, Taylor Moss, Hayley Jensen, Jake Davey, Darlinghurst, 2024 Australian Idol winner Dylan Wright, 2024 Toyota Star Maker winner Wade Forster, and the list goes on.

The ticketed shows and tickets for the Golden Guitar Awards go on sale on Monday, 8 July, with organisers hinting at “hundreds” more free and ticketed events and venue line-ups to be announced.

In a statement, Tamworth Country Music Festival Entertainment Venues Manager Peter Ross said of next year’s program: “We are thrilled to have a mix of new and old in our programme of shows for 2025 – all the favourite artist shows that the fans love to see each year plus some new and exciting special events that will make the 2025 Festival one to remember.”
The New South Wales Minister for the Arts, Minister for Music and the Night-time Economy, and Minister for Jobs and Tourism, John Graham, added: “For 53 years, Tamworth Country Music Festival has been leading Australia and the Southern Hemisphere in country music.
“The festival is a great example of what we want to see in regional centres across our state – visitors and locals coming together to celebrate home-grown talent.”
