Sam Barber Announces First-Ever Australian Headline Tour Dates

After making his Australian debut at the inaugural Ridin’ Hearts festival last November, Sam Barber has announced his return for April 2025.

Beginning the tour at Perth’s Freo.Social on Wednesday, 23 April, the tour continues at Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Friday, 25 April, Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Saturday, 26 April, Sydney’s Liberty Hall on Tuesday, 29 April, and ends at Brisbane’s The Triffid on Wednesday, 30 April. All shows are 18+, and Barber will be joined by special guest Cameron Whitcomb.

Barber, at just 21 years old, has made waves with his brand of country music, which resulted in the release of his debut album, Restless Mind, which he dropped last month. Receiving rave reviews from fans and critics, Restless Mind showcases the singer’s unique songwriting style and barrel-chested vocal performance.

The world learned Sam Barber’s name in 2022 when he released the song Straight And Narrow, which he originally wrote at 16 years old. The song went viral and reached #1 on streaming charts as well as the Billboard Charts, including Hot Rock Songs, Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, and Hot Country Songs.

Barber went on to make his life debut last June at The Basement in Nashville. Three months later, he performed on the iconic Grand Ole Opry stage. He also played at Bruce Springsteen’s BST Hyde Park series and performed at festivals such as Stagecoach, Lollapalooza, and, of course, Australia’s Ridin’ Hearts festival.
