Country Fest QLD has just gotten even bigger, today announcing two international headliners have been added to the already stacked 2025 line up.

Country Fest Queensland 2025 is set to be an unforgettable and action-packed weekend of entertainment. This year’s festival features a stellar lineup of American and Australian performers, and for the first time the exciting PBR Bull Riders will be at Country Fest Queensland. 

Presenting a diverse range of talent, with American acts Randy Houser and Max McNown slated to play alongside Australian country stars Casey Barnes, James Johnston, Wade Forster, Tori Darke and Zac & George

Additionally, the festival will showcase some local favourites including Luke Geiger, Mack Geiger & Cade Geiger, Route 33, and Shaun Diver

With a lineup like this, attendees can expect a high-energy show and world-class entertainment not from just the music but also with the rodeo action, market stalls, food vendors, and so much more. Country Fest promises to offer a fun-filled experience for the whole family in the beautiful Mackay Region.

One of the biggest highlights of the weekend will be the debut of the PBR Bull Ride on Saturday night, offering an exhilarating adrenaline rush that’s sure to be a crowd favourite. This thrilling event will provide attendees with the chance to witness one of the most exciting spectacles in the rodeo world.

Festival owners Jason & Kelly Dittmann shared their enthusiasm about bringing the festival back to the region, this time with an emphasis on family-friendly affordability. "We’re excited to move the event to a time that should help us avoid the unpredictable weather we’ve faced in recent years. We’ve also brought back affordable camping options to ensure it’s accessible to all families."

Regan Anderson, another festival owner, added, "Country Fest Queensland is so special to us at NQ Licensed Events. It’s incredible to showcase the vibrant spirit of our region, nestled between the stunning Mackay and Whitsundays, while presenting a world-class lineup with talents like Randy Houser, Max McNown, and our very own Luke Geiger."

Mayor Greg Williamson also praised the event, saying, "Having such high-profile American and Australian acts perform in our region is fantastic. Country Fest has earned its reputation as a high-energy festival with an incredible atmosphere, top-tier performances, and a beautiful setting. The festival continues to be a highlight for country music fans, and the council is proud to support its return in 2025."
