Rachael Fahim finally stopped romanticising red flags and instead started romanticising finding herself again.

Australian country-pop powerhouse Rachael Fahim has dropped her most vulnerable single yet with Who You Are, a bold, confessional anthem for anyone who's ever lost themselves in the wrong relationship. The track will no doubt make waves as an emotionally charged follow up to her hit Good Luck, which currently sits at #1 on the CMT Australia chart.

Who You Are was born in my situationship era,” Fahim says candidly. “I had fallen headfirst for someone who treated me like an option. It’s about the aftermath of a toxic relationship, when you stop excusing the bad behaviour and start realising your worth. This song isn’t just about mourning love lost, it’s about mourning the version of myself that I lost, because I stayed too long.”

Driven by a cinematic soundscape and an instantly catchy chorus "Graffiti your name on the walls of my broken heart, so that I don’t forget who you are" the song captures that bittersweet moment of heartbreak when pain meets clarity. Produced by Liam Quinn (Ruel, Rita Ora, Vera Blue) and mixed by Robby Desa, Who You Are is as polished as it is personal.

The track’s release is paired with a stunning music video shot across the iconic landscapes of the Nevada desert and the electric streets of Las Vegas. Directed by longtime collaborator Maddy King, the visuals are as raw and as striking as the song itself.

“Shooting Rachael’s latest music video in the Nevada desert was one of those dream shoot days,” King says. “Endless open skies, a classic red convertible and a small but incredible crew who brought the vision to life with passion and precision. We wrapped the shoot on the vibrant streets of Las Vegas, chasing light and finding unexpected moments among the buzz of the city. It was the perfect contrast to the stillness of the desert.”

Fahim’s star has been steadily rising since she won the prestigious Toyota Star Maker in 2017, following in the footsteps of country legends like Keith Urban and Troy Cassar-Daley. With over 12 million streams, five Australian Country Radio #1s, she’s become one of the most streamed Australian female country artists in the game.

She’s also no stranger to the big stage, recently touring with Dean Lewis and performing at SXSW USA, CMC Rocks, and now a massive 56-date tour with Pete Murray. She’ll be back onstage in October supporting Missy Higgins at Night At The Barracks in Manly and will headline her own show at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in January 2026.
