Post Malone is enjoying his detour into country music, teasing another collaboration with a famous country artist.
Following the recent drop of I Had Some Help with Morgan Wallen, the rapper and singer is hinting at a new song with Blake Shelton.
Yesterday (24 May), Post Malone shared a snippet of a new song, grooving along and pouring himself a drink as he harmonised with Shelton.
“Somebody pour me a drink, somebody bum me a smoke,” the pair sing in the new partying anthem, continuing: “I'm 'bout to get on a buzz/ I'm 'bout to get on a roll/ I've been breaking my back, just keepin' up with the Joneses/ Y'all know what I mean, y'all know how it goes.”
Shelton responded to Post Malone’s video with an emoji of the suspicious eyes looking sideways. On X (formerly known as Twitter), Shelton uploaded a video of himself watching Post Malone’s teaser and dancing along to it.
Replying to Post Malone’s teaser, Shelton’s wife and musician Gwen Stefani wrote, “Can’t handle this much cool and cute!! Super fan alert !”

At last week’s ACM Awards, Post Malone premiered a stunning song, Never Love You Again, a heartbreaking turn in the vein of more traditional country music. Of course, there’s I Had Some Help, too, and the singer appeared on the Beyoncé song LEVII’S JEANS from her album, Cowboy Carter.
Post Malone recently performed at Stagecoach festival and brought out special guests Brad Paisley, Dwight Yoakam, and Sara Evans for a set of country covers, which included Whitehouse Road, Check Yes Or No, Be My Baby Tonight, Don’t Take The Girl, Who’s Your Daddy?, and Three Wooden Crosses.
In November, Post Malone confirmed that he was preparing to release a country album.
“Country record is coming,” the Chemical singer and rapper said in a Twitch livestream as fans asked him if he’d dip into country music. “I keep singing a song that we made while I was in Nashville, and it's so fucking sick, but it's not out.”
Revealing that he’s been in the studio working on two different albums – whether they’re both country-related is unsure – he continued, “We made such sick music down in Nashville. It was so much fun.”
