Post Malone is well and truly a country singer.
After years of comments on the rap star’s husky genre-defying twang, Malone has finally announced his debut country album, F-1 Trillion, and there’s already a hell of a collaborative roster. The latest feature to come about is Hurricane singer Luke Combs — which was teased all the way back in February.
Jumping from rap to country seemed an effortless turn of events for singer Post Malone.
The ‘Congratulations’ singer raised eyebrows after being spotted in Nashville several times earlier this year before coming out guns blazing with his first country single, I Had Some Help, featuring Morgan Wallen.
A month later, in June, Malone tapped another major country star, Blake Shelton, for the collab Pour Me A Drink.
If those two collabs weren’t enough to pique your interest, another big country name took to Twitter on Thursday to share an audio snippet of a song with Malone. Luke Combs tweeted, “We doin’ this or what, @PostMalone?”

Post Malone swiftly responded, “Okay, FINE, but you like this more than the other one?!?!” hinting that the pair had another project on the back burner.

Malone revealed the name of his new album on Twitter on 19 June, showing a photo of a billboard sporting the album name. Several months prior, the singer shared in a Twitch stream that he had two albums in the works. However, it is unknown whether these will both delve into country or if the ‘White Iversion’ rapper will keep his toes in the rap game.
Two weeks ago, Malone hinted at a forthcoming collaboration with another country music icon: Chris Stapleton.
