“Honestly, I can’t tell you how good it is to be back playing live music."
Pete Murray fans living on the West Coast of Australia are in for a treat as three new shows have been tacked on to the Before I Go tour.
The tour kicked off last month in July, starting in Northern Queensland, with a plan to slowly head down the East Coast, before hopping over to WA in early November. Punters at the Northern Queensland shows have dubbed it a roaring success with audiences already singing along to the new songs from the Before I Go EP; an impressive feat considering the small amount of time between releasing the EP and heading on tour.
The EP, born in the middle of the pandemic, is the companion to previous EP The Night and was brought to life with the help of Garrett Kato and various writers in the UK and US. Both EP's will feature on the tour, with Murray drawing from all parts of his musical catalogue to create a dynamic and exciting show for attendees.
“Honestly, I can’t tell you how good it is to be back playing live music,” he stated. “I've wanted to play both these EPs for ages, I’m absolutely pumped about it!”
It's clear that Murray is just as excited as his fans to be back on the road connecting to the people that love his music and be able to express himself through live shows again.

"The band I have playing with me, these guys are seriously fantastic players. We just played Bluesfest recently, and we had a lot of people – photographers, the crew, all the bands – all saying to us, ‘You guys are the tightest band, it just blew us away.’
The support act for the West Coast shows has yet to be announced, but if they are anything like the East coast duo Dacy who have joined Murray on the first part of the tour, WA fans are bound to be in for a cracker of a show.
