Anthony’s Australian tour announcement arrives after the country music star revealed his plans to “get out of the music industry,” describing it as a “big joke.” Could this be the last time Australian fans see Anthony live for a while?
Oliver Anthony is looking to change his focus to travelling ministry work, inspired by the recent Rural Revival concert. “I'll still be releasing music just like normal,” the singer responded after a fan expressed concern about Anthony departing the music industry. “I'll just be set up legally as a ministry.”

Anthony surprise-released his debut album, Hymnal Of A Troubled Man's Mind, earlier this year. Many of the songs were recorded as rough demos straight to his Android phone, with producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell) helping breathe new life into the tracks.
