During his concert at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium on Saturday (May 4), Morgan Wallen announced the opening date for his new venture, This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen.
“A lot of y’all know I’ve got a bar opening soon down here in Nashville,” the Last Night singer said in between songs.
Describing where the bar will be located, he finished off by saying, “It’s going to be opening Memorial Day weekend, so I hope I see y’all there.”

Memorial Day weekend (May 25-27) will see the country icon’s bar flooded with food and music lovers alike. Serving everything from Nashville hot chicken dip, to taco stacked waffles, to Morgan’s vodka spaghetti, the Tennessee Kitchen is sure to become a local staple.
This Bar, a nod to Wallen’s hit song of the same name, pays homage to “all things Tennessee”. Cocktails, whiskey, beer, wine, and more will be on offer.
This opening comes after a tumultuous start of the year for Wallen. Arrested in April for an incident at Eric Church’s bar, he faces up to six years jail time with three class E felony charges of reckless endangerment, and a misdemeanour charge of disorderly conduct.
Though he was meant to face court last week, his hearing has been postponed until August.
Wallen joins a range of country artists setting up shop in Nashville, including Luke Combs, who will be opening Category 10 later this year.
