Casey Barnes and James Johnston saw a boost in this week’s Countrytown Hot 50 chart, while Luke Combs is sitting steady at #5.
Morgan Wallen’s fanbase is officially unhinged: for the tenth week in a row, Last Night is the #1 song on the Countrytown Hot 50 chart. And it’s not just here in the country music world that his reign continues to flourish – just last week, he topped the overall Australian singles chart for a fifth consecutive week.
At #2 on the Hot 50 is Casey Barnes’ Summer Nights, rising up a spot from its ranking last week. Also knocked up a spot has been GOT IT GOOD by James Johnston (currently sitting at #3), while Kaylee Bell's Boots N All has been knocked down from #2 to #4 this week. Rounding out the top 5 is Luke Combs, who’s kept his spot from last week’s chart with Fast Car.
The rest of this week’s top 10 has an equal mix of positives and negatives: Hailey Whitters’ Plain Jane and Jackson Dean’s Fearless have both risen a few spots – the former sits at #6 (versus #9 last week) and the latter at #7 (versus #11) – but Miss That Girl by ERNEST (#8) and Any Less Anymore by Travis Collins (#9) have both dropped; last week, they sat respectively at #6 and #7. Tyler Hubbard’s Dancin’ In The Country, though, remains steady at #10.
There have been seven new addition to the fray this week, led Hey Little Mama by Morgan Evans at #12. It’s followed by Now She Ain’t by Brad Cox (#30), Sleep On It by Zac & George (#31), Lost If I Lost You by Brooke McClymont & Adam Eckersley (#39), You Me And Whiskey by Justin Moore and Priscilla Block (#40), Paranoid by The Pleasures (#42) and Acres by Brad Cox.

All the other songs are carried over from last week’s chart, but there have been some huge shifts in placement: James Johnston’s WE GREW UP ON, for example, has soared up from #28 to #15, and Small Town by Casey Barnes went from #50 to #37. Andrew Swift’s latest, You And Me And A Bottle Of Whiskey, has also seen a major boost, from #31 to #19, and Bailey Zimmerman’s Rock And A Hard Place rose 11 spots up to #36.
Other notable bumps include ten spots for Shane Profitt’s How It Oughta Be (#26), eight spots for Zac & George’s Bar Stool. five spots each for Bailey Zimmerman’s Fall In Love (#13) and Old Dominion’s Memory Lane (#19), four spots each for Morgan Evans’ Over For You (#23) and Ashleigh Dallas’ Take A Minute (#34), two spots for Brooke Schubert’s New Kids In Town (#25), and spot one each for Our Church by Adam Brand and Matt Cornell, Livin’ The Dream by The Wolfe Brothers (#33).
