Morgan Evans Announces The Steel Town Tour

With a brand-new album, a massive live show and Laci Kaye Booth by his side, Morgan Evans is heading back to Australia and New Zealand for his biggest tour yet.

Aussie born, Nashville based hitmaker Morgan Evans is officially coming home for his biggest Australian tour yet!

This May and June, Evans will bring his Steel Town Tour across Australia and New Zealand for a run that’s shaping up to be nothing short of epic. Following the huge success of his Life Upside Down Tour which racked up nineteen shows across 2023 and 2024, including two sold-out nights at the Sydney Opera House.

Kicking off on Thursday 21 May in Perth, the tour will roll through Melbourne and Brisbane, plus all-ages shows in Adelaide and Sydney, before heading across the ditch to Auckland and Christchurch in June.

And if you’re wondering whether Evans is excited? Oh, he is.

“The Steel Town Tour will be the biggest tour I’ve ever done”, said Evans. “The biggest show, the biggest band and a record that was created to be shared live! I can’t fucking wait!”

Same, honestly.

The tour arrives hot on the heels of the release of Steel Town, the title track from his forthcoming album out March 20. The song is a cinematic love letter to his hometown of Newcastle, packed with vivid snapshots of crashed cars, first gigs and growing up in a town that was equal parts beautiful and tough.

“Steel Town is about where I come from and why I am the way I am. Newy was a beautiful place to grow up, but also a tough one, and we poured all of that into this record”.

Joining him on every date is US singer-songwriter Laci Kaye Booth, fresh off their stunning duet Two Broken Hearts. Booth, whose 2024 album The Loneliest Girl In The World cemented her as one of country’s most exciting rising voices, brings her dreamy, emotional country sound to the bill.
