Not only is Miranda Lambert a multi-award-winning singer-songwriter who has her own honky tonk bar, a fashion line, a non-profit called MuttNation, as well as a line of wines, oils, coffee beans and candles – she has now released her very first fragrance. According to the website, Idyllwind Eau De Perfume has fruity, floral and wood notes.
Lambert says, “Music connects us on a spiritual level. Scents, in many ways, do the same thing. This fragrance combines some of my favourite things: Georgia’s sweet peach blossoms, southern magnolias, and musky golden sandalwood that remind me of the piney woods of east Texas.”
The 1.7 fl oz. glass bottle with set you back $49.50 USD (that’s about $65 AUD) and is currently only available to be shipped to US postal addresses so unless you have an American mate, a mail forwarding service, such as ShopMate by Australia Post, is required.

Lambert recently dropped her solo single, If I Was A Cowboy. The track paints a picture of life out on the open plains in the West, chasing freedom on horseback and seeing the world from under the brim of a Stetson hat.
She says, "I wrote this song with my new friend, Jesse Frazier. We met doing the remix of Tequila Does and he and I just got together one day, one afternoon for a write and this is what came out of it. You know, it’s funny, he’s a Detroit boy and I’m an East Texan, but somehow we wrote a song about the Wild West together. So it’s pretty cool."
