US country superstars Midland have announced new Australian tour dates for 2023, including an appearance at the Gympie Music Muster on 27 August.
In celebration of their third and latest studio album, The Last Resort: Greetings From, the Grammy nominated trio, featuring vocalist Mark Wystrach, guitarist Jess Carson and bass player Cameron Duddy, will be kicking off their Australian tour in Rockhampton on Friday August 25 2023, before heading down the east coast including a stop in the Australian home of country music – Tamworth!
Proudly supporting Midland is Australia’s own country music superstar and multiple Golden Guitar Award winner, Travis Collins.
Midland said, “We are super excited to finally be able to announce new dates for our Australian tour. It was a difficult decision to postpone the December tour but we are coming back in August with a bigger tour and a bigger show!”

Midland originally announced their The Last Resort: Greetings From in May last year, to commence in early December. On Thursday, December 8, the tour promotors, TEG Live, advised the tour had “been postponed due to insurmountable production and logistics challenges.”

Midland also responded, "We are extremely disappointed that we can't make it Down Under this December for our tour. We're working closely with TEG Live to reschedule the tour for next year and can't wait to finally make it to your shores and party like never before!"
Tickets for Rockhampton, Brisbane, Canberra and Newcastle are on sale now. Sydney, Melbourne and Tamworth pre-sale begins on Friday, March 10 at 10am. Limited number of VIP meet and greet packages are also available. Ticket information and sales can be found via teglive.com.au.
Tickets previously purchased to Midland’s 2022 shows remain valid for the Australian 2023 dates and venues.

Midland burst onto the scene in 2017 with their acclaimed debut album, which featured #1 single Drinkin’ Problem, which earned the band their first Grammy Awards nominations for Best Country Song and Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
Midland were also named ‘New Vocal Group of the Year’ at the 2018 ACM Awards and nominated for three CMA Awards including ‘Vocal Group of the Year’, ‘Single of the Year’ for Drinkin’ Problem and ‘New Artist of the Year’.
The band’s last visit to Australia was in support of second album Let It Roll, which was a top five release on the Australian Country Album ARIA Charts.
