Megan Moroney was already heading to Australia to headline this year’s Ridin’ Hearts festival in Melbourne and Sydney, and today, she’s expanded her visit Down Under.

The Tennessee Orange singer will host a one-off headline show at Brisbane’s Riverstage to accompany her Ridin’ Hearts festival dates. The show will take place on Thursday, 23 October, and star special guest, fellow Ridin’ Hearts act and CMC Rocks alum, Avery Anna.

Frontier Members and Heartbreakers pre-sales will be available from 11 am local time on Thursday, 19 June, ahead of the general sale, which begins at 12 pm local time on Friday, 20 June. You can find more ticketing information via the Frontier Touring website.

Moroney is returning to Australia after a successful performance at last year’s CMC Rocks festival. With the success of her 2024 album, Am I Okay?, Moroney has solidified herself as an in-demand headliner, securing accolades from Rolling Stone and Billboard and receiving ACM and CMA New Artist of the Year honours.

Ridin’ Hearts 2025 will be headlined by Megan Moroney and Nate Smith. It will also feature acts such as Avery Anna, Waylon Wyatt, Lane Pittman, Sara Berki, and others, and like its previous editions, will take place in Sydney (25 October) and Melbourne (26 October). You can find more information about this year’s festival here.

Just days after it was announced that Moroney would headline this year’s Ridin’ Hearts festival, the singer-songwriter revealed that album #3, the highly anticipated follow-up to Am I Okay?, is already 80% written.

In a recent interview, she told People, “I would say that my next album is probably like 80% written. I just try to live my life and write about it. So that’s kind of how this next album is shaping up too - just like the last ones.”

She continued, “I would say I’ve still got the emo cowgirl staples on there because it wouldn’t be a Megan Moroney album without some heart-wrenching thing, but I do think it’s lighter and it’s really fun.”
