Australia’s loudest and smokiest festival returns to locations across Victoria, Queensland, and New South Wales starting from early this month, with the Sydney event shaping up to be its biggest to date.

Meatstock is Australia’s home of genre-defying live music, BBQ, and unforgettable experiences. Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the festival returns to Sydney Showground on Friday, 1 and Saturday, 2 May, with one of its most impressive bills to date.

The first artist announcement, which arrived last month, featured L.A.B., Thundamentals, The Dreggs, and Drax Project for a fiery, genre-free display of popular music from Australia and New Zealand.

Since then, the line-up has expanded to include country, folk, and rock performers such as Tiki Taane, The Bamboos, Kylie Auldist, Karen Lee Andrews, The Slims, and rising country star Bud Rokesky.

Once again, Meatstock is showcasing a weekend of world-class live music while spotlighting the country’s best pitmasters. If you love great tunes and barbecued meat equally, it’s the festival for you. And it’s a truly unique BBQ experience, with BBQ championships featuring Australia’s most impressive teams, plus grilling demonstrations, beer brewing, and much more.

Tickets are now available on the Meatstock Sydney website.

“The 2026 line-up brings the ultimate mix of grit, nostalgia, and raw performance energy,” said Simon Luke, Co-Founder of Meatstock.

“Every artist this year was chosen because they bring something unforgettable to the stage. Music has always been a core part of the Meatstock experience, and this year’s programme reflects that more than ever.”

Fellow Meatstock Co-Founder, Jay Beaumont, added, “We say it every year, but 2026 will really be raising the bar.

“The pits will be hotter, the flavours will be bolder, and the crews behind them include more world-class BBQ talent than ever before. We have chefs and pitmasters coming in from across the globe to take part in the Jack Daniels Fire Kitchen and bring their signature skills to Meatstock.”

Meatstock 2026 begins in Toowoomba this weekend, taking place on Friday, 10 and Saturday, 11 April. Next weekend, the festival heads to Gippsland on Friday, 17 and Saturday, 18 April.
