Mack Geiger Reveals 2026 Australian Headline Tour Dates

The tour dates come before Geiger's highly anticipated appearances at this year's Gympie Music Muster and Strummingbird festivals.

Mack Geiger has a busy couple of months ahead of him, with scheduled performances at festivals across Australia from August to October, and today, he’s announced a short run of headline shows for fans who’d like to see him up close and personal.

The shows take place in Geiger’s home state of Queensland next month. Continuing his breakthrough year, fans can witness him perform at Rockhampton’s Leichhardt Hotel on Friday, 21 August, Mackay’s McGuire’s Hotel on Saturday, 22 August, and Townsville’s The Warehouse on Sunday, 23 August.

Along with the headline tour dates, Geiger will perform at renowned country music festivals, such as the Gympie Music Muster, Triple B Rodeo, and Strummingbird, the latter of which will find the singer taking his tunes to Ballarat, Newcastle, and the Sunshine Coast.

Today’s tour announcement arrives following the singer’s recent appearances opening for Warren Zieders and Drake Milligan, as well as his debut US tour last month. For his inaugural dates across the US, Geiger hosted sold-out shows, performed at CMA Fest, and received a standing ovation during his Grand Ole Opry debut.

Earlier this month, Geiger unveiled his critically acclaimed, highly anticipated debut EP, Walk A Straight Line. The six-song collection, produced by Jared Adlam, showcased the rising star’s songwriting.

The EP is also having a major impact on the Australian country music scene. His single, String By, became the first country song to reach the Top 10 of the ARIA Australian Singles Chart in five years and has surpassed 60 million global streams.

Discussing his relationship with his home state, Geiger told Countrytown in a recent interview, “Country music for people in regional Queensland is about telling our story. My music leans into that traditional side. A lot of heartbreak songs, sure, but I definitely have a bunch of upbeat ones to dance around to. A few about Aussie living and cattle, too.”
