Luke Combs has ramped up the excitement once again. We knew My Kinda Saturday Night was due to drop this week from some teasers posted by Combs’ official fan club Instagram account earlier this week. This morning it’s been confirmed by the star himself that October 3 is the release date for new music.
But wait, there’s more! Alongside the fan favourite tune My Kinda Saturday Night, fans will be getting another two songs: Days Like These and 15 Minutes will also be released. All together the mini collection is titled The Prequel.
Combs also let fans know that next year’s massive tour will be named after the hit My Kinda Saturday Night, which tells us it’s going to be one hell of a rowdy show.
A new album is on the way! Combs was recently back in the studio, and shared a candid video saying that he was working on the new record and his tour dates for 2026, which of course sent fans into a frenzy.
This morning’s announcement, Combs revealed that the project should be released early next year.

“Still working on my new album that’ll be out early next year but 3 songs from it are ready now and I couldn’t wait to get y’all some new music, so I’m releasing them this Friday, October 3 as The Prequel. Songs will be Days Like These, 15 Minutes and My Kinda Saturday Night, which next year’s tour will be named after. I’ll have more news on that very soon.” Combs captioned his Instagram post
Big questions on our lips though is will the 2026 tour include an Australian leg? Combs broke records earlier this year as he is the first country artist to ever headline a national stadium tour down under. Selling out immediately and playing to almost 500,000 people over six shows, tickets were in hot demand.
We can only imagine what the next Australian tour might look like, but either way, we cannot wait to find out.
