Luke Combs Shares An Update With Fans And Drops A Hidden Clue About New Music

Luke Combs is back in the studio, and while the country superstar hasn’t made any formal announcements just yet, a new video posted to his Instagram this morning has fans buzzing. 

The short clip shows Combs sitting in his car outside the recording studio speaking to his followers, giving fans a peek at what appears to be the early stages of something big.

“There also may or may not be an Easter egg regarding new music in this video that will one day make sense,” the caption reads. It’s a classic move from Combs, who’s known to tease fans with cryptic clues ahead of major releases. 

Naturally, that line has sent his fanbase into detective mode, speculating on everything from hidden track titles in the video to possible sonic shifts in his next album. What is clear though, is the singer confirmed that the new album is well underway. 

Combs has previously previewed unreleased songs online, including heartfelt ballads and uptempo anthems that have yet to find a home on an official album. If this video is any indication, some of those tracks, or something brand new, might be coming sooner rather than later.

In the same video, Combs also thanked fans for allowing him to have some time off and much needed family time with his boys and his wife. He also teased there will be a “big tour next year” which himself and his team have been finalising the details on just as short as a week ago.

Fans will have to wait and see what the Easter egg turns out to be, but one thing’s for sure, Luke Combs is cooking up something, and the countdown has officially begun.
