Loren Ryan will return to her hometown of Tamworth in January, performing her first-ever ticketed show in the Australian home of country music.
Her Tamworth concert also turns out to be an EP launch show, with the Bounce Back singer premiering tracks from her brand-new, upcoming release. The gig will take place at Tamworth’s Moonshiners Honky Tonk Bar – tickets are on sale now from here. Additional Loren Ryan tour dates can be found below.
The concert announcement arrives two weeks after Ryan unveiled her first music video for Suddenly, which marks her first single as the 2023 Toyota Star Maker winner.
“I love the realness of this music video, it's a peek into our life,” Ryan said about the moving Suddenly video in a statement. “When I'm not on the road, I like to be present with my daughter; her laughter is bliss. Jeremy Minett did an awesome job of capturing us in the moment.
“This is my first music video, and I have an overwhelming sense of pride in being able to share this milestone with my daughter Charlie.” You can watch the video below.
Last week, Countrytown named Loren Ryan one of the Black Female Country Music Artists You Should Know.

Writer Stephen Green remarked, “Australian singer Loren Ryan broke her own barriers earlier this year, winning the Toyota Starmaker competition in Tamworth. The Gamilaraay woman told Countrytown in an interview just prior to her win that black artists were making their mark across all genres of music. "If you're the last to champion First Nations acts, you're going to be old news. The time is now to make a difference-- to be a mover and shaker for inclusivity," she said. You can read her whole interview here.
This September, Ryan is heading to BIGSOUND after a remarkable 12 months. Last year, she released Songs For Charlie, a kid’s country album with covers of her daughter’s favourite songs and four original tracks. It incorporates words and verses in the Gamilaraay language and the musical backing of the didgeridoo and clapsticks.
