Lainey Wilson Takes Home Top Honour At 59th Annual CMA Awards

Country superstar Lainey Wilson was the night’s big winner at the 59th Annual CMA Awards, taking home Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Album of the Year for Whirlwind. Wilson, Riley Green and Ella Langley each walked away with three awards, while newcomer Zach Top earned his first CMA for New Artist of the Year.

Although the evening was packed with high energy performances, collaborations, and tributes, Wilson’s opening medley set the tone for the night. She honored icons like Chris Stapleton, Brooks & Dunn, and Miranda Lambert before performing duets with Little Big Town and Keith Urban.

Kenny Chesney celebrated his 2025 Country Music Hall of Fame induction with a medley of hits, and Vince Gill received the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award in a touching tribute featuring Brandi Carlile, Patty Loveless and George Strait.

The awards reflect votes from over 7,000 CMA members, including artists, songwriters, producers, and industry professionals, celebrating the full spectrum of Country music excellence.
