Lainey Wilson has revealed the tracklist for her upcoming, highly anticipated new album, Whirlwind, and announced the release date of her next single.
The third song to be released from the album, 4x4xU, will drop on Thursday, 4 July – a big day in country music with Morgan Wallen releasing his new track, Lies, Lies, Lies, and Zach Bryan dropping his next album, The Great American Bar Scene, on the same day.
4x4xU follows the release of singles Country’s Cool Again and Whirlwind’s official lead single, Hang Tight Honey, climbing up the Top 20 of US country radio. You can pre-order/pre-save Whirlwind and add 4x4xU to your streaming library here.
As for the Whirlwind tracklist, Wilson has shared that her forthcoming album features 14 songs and just one collaboration: Miranda Lambert stars on the third track of the LP, Good Horses.
You can find the Whirlwind tracklist below.
Wilson said of her new album on Instagram upon announcing the tracklist, “Writing & recording these 14 songs over the past couple of years has helped me stay grounded in ways you’d never believe. This album brought me back to my roots and made me feel at home during times when I couldn’t have been further away, and my biggest hope is that it gives you that same sense of comfort that it has for me.”

Whirlwind will be released via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville on Friday, 23 August.
Lainey Wilson’s new album follows the mammoth success of her fourth album, Bell Bottom Country.
Released in late October 2022, Bell Bottom Country saw Wilson take over country music, winning Best Country Album at the Grammys, Album of the Year at the ACM Awards, and Album of the Year at the CMA Awards. The 16-track album saw her peak at #35 in Australia, #9 on the US Top Country Albums Chart, and #2 on the UK Country Albums Chart.
In addition to the accolades crowned on the album, Wilson was crowned Entertainer of the Year at the recent CMA Awards and made her way to Australia for the first time (to great success).
