New Zealand country singer Kaylee Bell has shared amazing news: she’s welcomed a baby boy (or baby cowboy).

Bell officially announced her pregnancy in November, writing on social media along with a photo of her and her husband at the ARIA Awards: “Been cooking more than music this year...our own little cowboy coming Feb ‘25. We can’t wait to meet him.”

Bell posted on her Instagram story that her baby boy was born on 22 January 2025, a bit earlier than expected.

“Welcome to the world, our little cowboy,” Bell wrote, adding emojis and her baby’s birthdate. Not sharing a photo of her son’s face, Bell posted a photo of her baby in pyjama pants that read, “G’day Cowboy!” and zoomed in on his toes.

She continued, “After a bit of a journey, we have our happy and healthy wee man ready to see the world.”

Congratulations to Kaylee Bell and her partner, Nick Campbell!

Bell opened up about her pregnancy in an interview with NZ Herald when she was six months pregnant and opening for Kane Brown on tour.

Looking to erase the stigma around being a mother in music, Bell shared that she has huge touring plans for 2025, including her appearance at Queensland’s CMC Rocks Festival.

“There are stigmas that I would love to see change, and if I can do anything to help change them, I will be trying to,” Bell said. “Just because we’re having a baby, it’s like, yes, things will be tough; I’m a realist.

“I know it’s going to be really hard, but I think the hard stuff is always worth it, and the joy is that I get to have a family and have a career at the end of the day. So, if I can show someone else that that’s possible, then I think that’s really encouraging.”

Bell will head to the UK in August to headline the Country Calling music festival alongside Dillon Carmichael.
