It’s officially CMC Rocks week, and things are heating up as Australia’s largest country music festival returns to Ipswich, Queensland.

As we approach the massive event—headlined by American country heroes Cody Johnson, Thomas Rhett, and Jon Pardi—everyone is getting excited, including New Zealand singer-songwriter Kaylee Bell.

Taking to Instagram today (18 March), Bell reminded punters of her two performances at the festival and teased “surprises” up her sleeve. Bell will perform on the Tailgate Stage tomorrow (19 March) at 10 pm and the Rebel Stage on Friday (21 March) at 6 pm.

“It’s CMC Rocks week!!! Tag yourself and anyone that’s coming,” she wrote.

“We will see you Tailgate Stage this Wednesday night 10 pm and Rebel Stage Friday 6 pm…. Might have some surprises for you.”

Since Kaylee Bell welcomed her baby boy in January, she’s proven that mums can continue being successful in the music industry. She returned to the stage on Saturday (15 March), performing at the final-ever Jim Beam Homegrown Festival in Wellington, New Zealand.

Just in time for CMC Rocks, Bell is a four-time nominee at this year’s inaugural Countrytown Awards. She’s been nominated for Female Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (for Nights Like This), Song of the Year (for Cowboy Up), and the coveted Entertainer of the Year award.

After receiving the news that she’s a finalist at the awards, Bell said, “Lordy … thank you for voting for me for these awards!! Such an honour to be a finalist in four categories for Entertainer of The Year, Album of the Year, Female Artist and Song of the Year!!! Thank you for continuing to believe in me Countrytown.”

The Countrytown Awards will be unveiled exclusively on Countrytown and at an invite-only event in Brisbane this Thursday, 20 March.

Meanwhile, in addition to the headliners, Bell will join acts including Cole Swindell, Wyatt Flores, Dylan Marlowe, Ashley Cooke, Zach Top, Travis Collins, Carter Faith, Lane Pittman, Max Jackson, Denvah, and many more at this year’s CMC Rocks.
