Kaylee Bell has shared a behind the scenes video to YouTube documenting her time supporting English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran on all six of his New Zealand shows during his stadium + - = ÷ x Tour (pronounced ‘The Mathematics Tour’) playing to crowds of around 80,000 every night.

Bell shares, “We’ve just had the best time on this tour. We’re having the time of our life.”

During the tour, Bell released her latest single BOOTS 'N ALL, which currently sits at #24 on the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart after only two weeks on the chart. The song also playlisted on NZ mainstream radio and the #2 most played song in NZ across all genres this week.

Written by Bell, Michael Paynter and Michael DeLorenzis of MSquared and Emily Hatton at an APRA SongHubs in Brisbane, Bell initially had the song title and describes the song as 'Shania Twain meets Haim', an up-tempo, ‘tongue in cheek’ song about the expectation placed on a future partner. It is a playful, feel-good anthem that Bell hopes will be screamed by the masses.

Bell has also just announced a nationwide NZ tour scheduled for May 2023. The ten shows will take her to Waimate, Christchurch, Wellington, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Hamilton and Auckland. Tickets are on sale now via moreFM.

She says, “It’s always been a dream to tour through NZ playing my music to people and we can’t wait to get to play both islands and meet as many people as we can out on tour. Music is about bringing people together and I can’t wait for this tour to do that. This year has started off in an incredible way playing stadiums with Ed Sheeran and we can’t wait to carry that on playing shows around NZ.”

Just found out Waimate and Christchurch have SOLD OUT!! 🥹👢♥️ Two new shows added (Waimate and Chch) and tickets...

2022 was a momentous year for the country-pop singer-songwriter. Bell opened for New Zealand’s biggest band on the SIX60 Stadium Tour, headlined Coca Cola Christmas in the Park NZ, and opened for US Country Star Brad Paisley on the NZ leg of his World Tour alongside Morgan Evans and MacKenzie Porter.

She also appeared on The Voice Australia in 2022 and her single Keith went viral and has since amassed over 14 million streams on Spotify alone. With over 40 million streams, Bell is the ‘Most Streamed Female Country Artist’ in Australasia for the past four years.
