More Jelly Roll More Jelly Roll

While his heart is pure and his music touching, singer Jelly Roll (real name Jason DeFord) is not someone you would want to mess with - especially not in a wrestling ring as now seen over the weekend at Cleveland, Ohio’s WWE SummerSlam

In a clip shared by the singer, Jelly Roll can be seen sneaking into the ring behind WWE wrestlers Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. The tag team, known as A-Town Down Under, can be seen smirking and mocking Jelly Roll, unaware that the singer is waiting behind them with a steel fold-out chair.

The Miz and R-Truth, presumed to be on JR’s side, were in the middle of announcing the main event before chaos ensued. The duo also laid kicks into Theory and Waller.

Part-way through, Jelly’s towering frame goes for Theory’s jugular, hyping up the crowd before throwing the pro-wrestler to the ground in a choke slam.

The rapper-turned-country singer was in town for the event as the musical performer; however, being of the generation that grew up with WWE, he couldn’t resist a cameo for nostalgia’s sake.

“Crazy—I lived a childhood dream tonight in the craziest way I’ve ever lived it. Wow, man, thank you @WWE for everything. What a night,” the singer wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
