Raised Like That was released on July 9, 2021. It reached number one on the Countrytown Hot 50 Country Airplay Chart. In another feat, it also became the fastest single by an Australian based country artist to hit 1 million streams.

Raised Like That tells the story of community, integrity, and a celebration to a way of life of people who grew up in a small close nit community. The anthemic production and lyrics are reminiscent of Eric Church and Kip Moore and the track is undeniably infectious.

Johnston’s follow up radio singles – Small Town and Country Boys – also reached #1 on the Countrytown Hot 50. The singer-songwriter is gearing up for the release of his first duetSame Songs with Kaylee Bell – this week. The song was written in part with his fans, who contributed their favourite singalong songs and artists that he could incorporate into the lyrics.
