Is Jake Banfield About To Announce An Australian Tour?

In a video shared to socials this morning Jake Banfield put the call out to his Australian fans asking for their help as to where he should go to play some shows. 

Fans flooded the comments with locations on where they would love to see Banfield play a show. At the time of writing, there were shoutouts to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Central Coast and Townsville but it was Brisbane that had the most requests for a show.

After high rotation across Australian country radio, Banfield’s single Lasso hit #1 on the Countrytown Hot 50 chart last week

We spoke with Banfield back in July and even way back then he told us he had hoped to be able to bring his live experiences to Australian fans “Australia’s shown me a lot of love already. To play these songs in person for the people who’ve been streaming and supporting from that far away, that’d be special. I’m ready when y’all are.”

Banfield’s energy and love of live music is what helps set him apart. “I treat every show like it might be someone’s first time seeing live music.” Banfield tells Countrytown. “I bring the energy, the emotion, all of it. I want people leaving like, ‘Dang, I felt that.’ I want them to feel something real.”
